Vocalist Lily Ayers was my first digital portrait session with full studio lighting (I usually photographed “things” as opposed to people!). She was having design work done by the studio I worked for at the time. This was for her debut CD, “Lily” and she needed some “high gloss” glamorous images for the cover and disk.
We warmed up, taking a few casual shots to get her comfortable in front of the lens first, then we worked on some of the images and look she and her mum originally had in mind. I loved the end result of both styles as Lily was a pleasure to work with and photograph…always smiling and full of “joie de vivre”. I was so lucky having such a natural beauty to work with, and the CD was a real hit!
